Beneficial Ways to Protect Your Garden

To revel in the fruits of your efforts, you need to take action to protect your garden against both pests and diseases. The attention you pay your plants, shrubs, trees and flowers is one thing, but you must be extra diligent with a kitchen garden. And even then, you can expect to lose some of your dear veggies to insects, birds, deer, rabbits, and a list of diseases.

One way to endorse a successful crop is to grow a range of plants. This will create a balanced environment for your seedlings to prosper, instead of having one item that can be overcome by the enemies. Thus, leaving you with nothing at all. Another good idea is the process of thinning, and then disposing of those extra carrots and tomatoes far far away from the garden. This will limit the places for diseases and bugs to lay camp. The bottom line is to pay attention as your garden grows, and be a stickler for details if the mood suits you. Then all of that pampering should pay off to your advantage.
